If you ask me, it's a giant conspiracy--the Angels (and maybe the D-Backs) had fantastic runs and MLB said "hey! Great publicity, brings the old fans out!" So they systematically found a few "old favourites but frustrated" teams to re-make--and here we have the BoSox, the ChiWeenies, and the GeneralMotorsChumps.<BR/> Besides, the Cards have made consecutive playoff appearances with nought to show for it.
